#ROW80 update

I don’t have much to report as I haven’t worked on any of my stories since last week.  Mostly I’ve been putting up my Christmas tree and the lights outside and cooking and eating and drinking and dancing.  Decoratin’ and cele-bratin’. 🙂

I’ve eased myself back into writing this week by writing blog posts – one of which is for the YA Scavenger Hunt that starts tomorrow.  There are going to be a ton of prizes and books up for grabs!  It should be lots of fun.

Today I have plans to write my 12 Days of Reading blog post – that starts on December 12th – and to finish up the pen name story I started last week.

The deadline for Back in Time is fast approaching, so I’ve got to get on that beginning tomorrow.  That gives me two weeks to finish it!

Has November been a blip for anyone else?  Jeez time goes by so much faster when you’re old. 🙂

  1. This is a really tough time of year for a writing dare. (It’s one of the reasons I never do NaNo — bad time of year, AND it never falls at the right time to help me with the current project.)

Keep reporting, though. It keeps your mind in the game, even when you’re not keeping up.

  2. I love me some Christmas, too. I had two trees to decorate. One in my house and one in my office. And, of course, all the extras to go along with them. The office looks like a freakin’ mall. All I need is a live Santa.

  3. I think taking a break to enjoy the season is perfectly acceptable. I have to clear out the Tree Corner. It will be going up this weekend.

All the best as you get back into the swing of things.

    Have a good one!
